I lived at The Kodo on a corporate lease for 3 months and Zack was always more than willing to help me with any questions that I needed answered. Personally called me to check-in, always said hello to me when I was in the lobby and was prompt with any requests I needed done. I've lived in 8 cities in the past year for work and Zack was the best employee I have encountered. Cheers!

The Kodo deserves a top score based on the overall performance of its management, staff, and the building itself. Whenever I need a repair (big or small), it’s completed in a timely manner. The work itself is professional and top quality. It’s worth mentioning that proper management is essential for a business to run smoothly and their property manager, Zack Thomas, needs his own shoutout. He takes the time to fully engage with you, which is more impactful than just a smile. Zack understands the needs of his residents, and he does his best to exceed our expectations. I absolutely believe in the saying “seeing is believing,” but it’s important to note what we don’t see. There is no lingering trash on the property as well as disorderly conduct. There are no pests, which I’ve seen on properties of various price points. There’s basically no neglect, which you’ll be hard pressed to find in comparable properties across Los Angeles. With the team’s diligent efforts, I feel safe and comfortable in the building day or night. You can’t put a price tag on your well being, but (if you could) then The Kodo is a bargain.

I lived at The Kodo for 6 months when I first moved to LA. I used it as interim housing to figure out the neighborhoods and options. I loved it! I was on the 6th floor, had great views, a modern and luxe feel and relatively limited noise and Zack was a great building manager. All concerns were promptly attended to within 24 hours. Highly recommend especially if you need a short term rental for a reasonable price; they go as low as 3 months for the same price as a 12 month lease.

Probably the best and most luxurious apartment on the block . Staff is excellent and the building has a great view of downtown skyscrapers , private parking available and best of all you can contract on a monthly plan here if you want !!!

Not only were they extremely patient during the onboarding process of getting me settled in, but they continued to go above and beyond to support my needs as a resident. Loved my set up at the Kodo - it's clean with a simple yet chic decor. I had a great experience/stay - definitely 5 stars worthy!

As a Director/Producer/Casting Director, who travels considerably, I recommend the Kodo to industry professionals and Actors! The amenities are wonderful. Top of the line kitchen appliances with beautiful counter tops. It feels spacious and cozy all at the same time. Decor is minimal and pretty. The Staff is AMAZING, warm, welcoming and ready to answer any questions you may have. Lobby/Common area furnishings are beautiful. WIFI is fast and strong! Clean and comfy environment. The Kodo has been an absolute dream to stay at during our short stay in LA. The apartment is amazingly furnished with everything we needed to live with comfort and cook our own meals. There were toiletries and cute little face masks provided - such lovely touches! Benji and Nicole are extremely helpful and really lovely. The location is fantastic, especially if you have rented a car although on street parking is difficult to find! The communal area is really lovely and the continental breakfast provided on weekdays was really appreciated. Thank you - if we ever stay in LA again you will be our first call!

Kodo has a great location in Koreatown! There are so many great restaurants in the area and things to do in this part of LA! There is also a rooftop bar with an awesome view of the city for those nights you want to have some friends over to watch the sunset and have some drinks! I definitely love taking advantage of the gym on the first floor which looks out onto a cute little courtyard. The rooms have Nest and KEYPR, are always clean, and are fully furnished! All appliances are in the units also - including in-unit laundry!! This building is also pet friendly so we are able to bring along our furry friends! Not to mention the staff is amazing and very accommodating!

Kodo’s located in Koreatown so there are TONS of great places to eat literally just blocks away, super convenient. Likewise, the surrounding neighborhood isn’t the cleanest, but you forget about that once you’re inside. The common spaces are actually inviting - contrary to some of the other apartments I’ve been to. (They have this cute little central courtyard and I just love to eat out there and listen to the birds sing.) There’s also a gym and bar on the rooftop. Also, the rooms are always clean and offer smart home features like Nest and KEYPR. And it’s furnished! You’ve got everything you need when you move in - plus in-unit laundry and it’s pet friendly. And the staff are the nicest ever. Definitely worth a stay.
